Look up some basic information relating to local arrangements below. Each June, an information sheet is issued with any year specific arrangements and this will be added when available.
Production Traffic ("Load In")
Date TBC. As in previous years, production traffic will enter the site from the north via Clonmellon.
Public Access
Public vehicles will access the site via gate A on the Crowenstown Road. Given the reduced capacity (5,000), it is not expected that Resident Vehicle Passes will be necessary in 2023.
Production Traffic ("Load Out")
The festival will be dismantled from Monday 19th June and the team is normally off-site within five days.
Noise levels will be monitored throughout the event in accordance with the
‘Code of Practice on Environmental Noise at Concerts’.
Given the nature of the event, there will be some noise audible from the festival site after the main stages have closed. Some campsite
entertainment will continue and this will be under the control of the Gardaí
and event organizers. It is hoped that any disturbance will be minimal.
The promoter has made a commitment that the music will not be audible off site
from midnight Sunday out of respect for those in the local area who need to get up
early on Monday morning.
Before The Event
If your property is in the immediate vicinity of the festival venue and/or you have a specific concern relating to security, please contact the Resident Hotline here.
During The Event
If you are concerned about trespass or antisocial behaviour during the live event, please contact Delvin Gardai on 086 858 3049 or 999 if it is an emergency. The gardai will operate increased patrols and checkpoints during the event, and they will be in constant communication with event control, so please do call them if you are anxious.
Gatecrashers / Fence Jumpers
Some might think it is acceptable or even smart to try and gate-crash the event, but this is dangerous and it is also akin to breaking and entering private property. Please do not attempt to access the festival without a ticket. You can volunteer and receive a ticket in return for your work? Although not endorsed by the festival, it is also expected that some resident tickets may be available locally in the run up to the event, so there will be ways of accessing and enjoying the festival legally.
A waste management contractor will ensure that the venue and immediate surrounds
are monitored and cleaned throughout the event.
Cleaning operatives will monitor and remove litter from the festival perimeter each day and a full clean will take place on Monday. Please contact the Resident Hotline if you
come across litter issues which may be due to the festival.
